A health card in the UAE lets residents get medical care at public hospitals and clinics run by Emirates Health Services (EHS) or health authorities at lower, regulated costs.
Validity: Valid for 5 years for UAE and GCC nationals, and 1 year for expatriates and visitors.
Physical Card: Physical cards are no longer printed; the electronic health card is linked directly to your Emirates ID
Fees:
- Residents / Visitors (1-year/3-month validity): 100 AED
People of Determination: 50 AED
Requirements: A valid Emirates ID is required to apply or renew
